
Miami Speed Lab is a series of three training sessions offered once a week that focus on Acceleration, Max Velocity & Acceleration & Deceleration. We assess and develop all athletes; teaching the fundamentals movements of sport, skill and athleticism. Each sessions provides the latest technology and tools to show results and enhance performance that many elite athletes use on a daily basis.
ACCELERATION
MONDAY / 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Learn the techniques to improve your initial burst of speed. We’ll work on form, technique, and explosive movements to help you power off the line with greater efficiency.
MAX VELOCITY
WEDNESDAY / 6:30 - 7:30 pm
We’ll focus on reaching your top speed. This session will incorporate drills that aim to maximize your force output and have faster contact times for optimal performance.
Acceleration/Deceleration
FRIDAY / 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Develop your ability to accelerate quickly and decelerate safely. This training is crucial for athletes in all sports, as it enhances performance while minimizing injury risk.
ABOUT COACH
Mekayla Frazier
A former collegiate softball player at UNC Charlotte and Elon University, Mekayla excelled both as an athlete and scholar. Growing up in Miami, she played multiple sports, including soccer and volleyball, understanding the importance of being a well-rounded athlete. Mekayla honed her skills at Gulliver Preparatory, where she played varsity softball and soccer from middle school through high school. Now a coach at DBC Fitness, she blends her expertise in yoga with strength training and is passionate about guiding athletes on their journey to excellence. Learning from performance specialist, Jordan Collins, she leads Miami Speed Lab training with the goal to help elevate athletes to new heights.
